Let’s get creative! In this 1.5 hour workshop, we'll open-ended and process based art and why it's important for young children. Exploring elements of various art mediums, we’ll discover how art can strengthen imagination, critical thinking, problem solving and learn about culture.
Our “More, Nature! More Play!” workshop is an immersive outdoor experience geared towards incorporating more outdoor education into the classroom. We’ll discover tips and tricks to supplement existing curriculum, create engaging and meaningful outdoor activities, and learn how to handle potential safety concerns. We’ll also talk about resources available to teachers who are looking to incorporate outdoor education into their classrooms. 2 hours in length
This 1.5 hour workshop explores the history of puppetry arts and storytelling as a means of defining culture and traditions. How can we use the power of storytelling for learning and empowering children? This class will provide you with new tools to help build literacy and social emotional development with the magic of puppets!
